The Big Three Has The Boston Celtics Winning

... the Boston Celtics are the best team in basketball.

The Celtics started off the season with a lot of expectations, thanks to the acquisitions of Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen, adding some big-time talent with Paul Pierce's big-time talent. However, there still remained some questions of chemistry for many people. Well, not to me as I thought that these guys would do well together. They actually exceeded my expectations!

In any case, as the flavors of the months arose - remember the sick run the Portland Trail Blazers had in the beginning of the season; how about the New Orleans Hornets proving they were real as they stayed up near the top of the Western Conference all season; the Los Angeles Lakers just winning when Pau Gasol joined Kobe Bryant - well, that was all well and good for those teams, but the Celtics just continued to win. All season.

Currently, the Celtics have the best record in the Association at 57-15. The closest team to them are the Detroit Pistons with their 51-21 record and barring some disastrous turn of events, you can expect the Celtics to finish on top as the regular season kings of the Association. Along with the Utah Jazz, the Celtics have beaten every single team in the NBA at least once. And while the Jazz are having an excellent season, their play hasn't been as inspired or productive as Boston's.

So, while other teams' surges this past season have been admirable, even incredible, the Celtics surge has been as consistent as a pulse. There are many folks in Beantown hoping that the beat will continue to go on during the postseason.

Having the most important "C" going for them - consistency - can there be any doubting these C's?
