In The (O)Neal Of Time?

Monday March 31, 2008

After missing most of the season, not playing since January 16th against the Golden State Warriors, the return of Jermaine O'Neal has come. The question now is, with that, does a playoff spot for the Indiana Pacers happen as well? Currently, the Pacers are three games behind the Atlanta Hawks with eight to play... crazier things have happened.

In 18 minutes of play, JON scored nine points, grabbed a couple of boards, dished off a couple of dimes, and had one block. Can O'Neal help the Pacers overtake the Hawks for that last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference? His presence can't hurt.

Another superstar that has been out for most of the season is Gilbert Arenas. Agent Zero wants to come back, but the Washington Wizards staff is holding him back. However, will his presence really make a difference if he came back? What about Arenas' potential free agency after this season? Well, he says he's willing to take a paycut. But, what are the conditions if any?
