2008 NBA Playoffs - Day Twenty-Six - May 14
Here at About.com, we'll be following each day of the 2008 NBA Playoffs - nothing too in-depth with these posts, but a bit of a recap that gives a couple of brief sentences or so, the final results, as well as links to the boxscore.

Cleveland Cavaliers 89, Boston Celtics 96 @ Boston / Box Score
Finally, every single star lived up to the bill. Well, except Ray Allen (4-for-11; 11 points). However, LeBron James finally shot well from the floor (12-for-25; 35 points), Paul Pierce exploded for 29 points, and Kevin Garnett had a double-double (26 points, 16 rebounds). But, perhaps the real player to look at when it comes to this win, it's Rajon Rondo who had 20 points, 13 assists, and a couple of blocks and steals each. Thus far in the series, the home team has won each game. Celtics lead series 3-2.
Utah Jazz 104, Los Angeles Lakers 111 @ Los Angeles / Box Score
The game was a lot closer than the score says, but the Lakers were able to pull away at the end of the game. Every starter on each team scored in double-digits with Deron Willilams (27 points) leading the Jazz and Kobe Bryant (26 points) leading the Lakers, despite a sore back. Lakers lead series 3-2.
