The Fig Cap: "I'm getting PAID!"

It was just a matter of time before it became official - Gilbert Arenas AKA Agent Zero AKA Hibachi AKA a slew of other names re-signed with the Washington Wizards. The odd thing about this? For all the enigmatic and kooky behavior, Arenas actually cares about winning as he wanted the Wizards to re-sign Antawn Jamison first before he put his John Hancock on a contract himself. However, potentially cash-strapped to sign two excellent players, the Wizards would need to get the money somewhere. That's where Arenas comes in.

Instead of being greedy and demanding a maximum contract from the Wiz, Arenas took enough money (like $111 million is ever NOT enough money) so that the team could also re-sign Jamison. With Arenas, Jamison, and Caron Butler in tow, the Wizards will do very well... if they can all stay healthy, particularly Arenas who came back too quickly from rehab.
