Feeding The Post: The NBA in London and China?

Vince Carter helps the New Jersey Nets beat the Miami Heat in London

* Vince Carter was what most people have been saying most of his career he wasn't - clutch. Yup, Carter helped the New Jersey Nets beat the Miami Heat in a preseason game that took place in London, England, a place NBA Commissioner David Stern is considering having regular season games played before London hosts the 2012 Summer Olympics. And why not? There was a great response for this game from the London crowd and it would help solidify the NBA's image around the world.

* And to prove how much Stern wants to solidify the image and NBA brand internationally, he announced that the NBA is in a joint venture to build 12 arenas throughout China. The cities are still to be determined, but anything NBA in China is basically gold... no pun intended relative to the Redeem Team's gold medal performance this past Olympics in Beijing. Don't expect any NBA games there any time soon, especially since the parties involved are looking at this as a 20-year plan to complete.

* I've updated the Overall Fantasy Basketball Rankings! There's some movement at the top as Dirk Nowitzki moves in the top five, and Jose Calderon and Danny Granger are moved up, and there are three major fantasy players on the Injured list. In any case, it's prime time for draft time, so check it, check it, check it out!
