Feeding The Post: Deron Williams Injured

* Deron Williams of the Utah Jazz left last night's preseason game versus the Chicago Bulls, an 88-80 Jazz loss, in a wheelchair. Williams sprained his left ankle, the X-rays results for which were negative, and left the arena on crutches. This is a disturbing vision for Jazz fans as Williams is undeniably the engine that makes the team go. Considering the results were negative, D-Will shouldn't be out too long, which will be good for the league since he is one of the game's best players and a recent gold medal winning member of Team USA.
* There was speculation that New York Knicks first round pick, Danilo Gallinari might be sent to the D-League, but it has been refuted by head coach Mike D'Antoni, which is too bad. As a Knicks fan, I wanted Jerryd Bayless and if Gallinari goes the way of Frederic Weis, a Knicks foreign pick that never played a real NBA game, I'll be fine with it. I know, harsh. In any case, in the same link, there is a rumor that the Knicks might trade Eddy Curry to the Washington Wizards in light of Brendan Haywood's wrist injury. Two words, Knicks - Andray. Blatche.
* Delonte West of the Cleveland Cavaliers is battling a mood disorder and I wish him all the best. Knowing several people with mental disorders, I can understand how difficult dealing with something like this can be. Hopefully, he has a strong support system, including the Cavs, which it seems like. Go, Delonte!

I think deron williams is milking is injury. If he was a true athlete he would be out there helping his team and not worrying about statistics…it’s about the “W’s”
