Starbury Banished

The New York Knicks/Stephon Marbury saga continues as last week, the Knicks' Quentin Richardson called out Marbury and said that he was not a teammate after Marbury refused to play despite the Knicks barely having a bench against the Detroit Pistons, whom they lost to, and perhaps a feeling a fatigue was felt since there weren't enough players and minutes to rest. However, how can anyone blame Marbury as he was told, for all intents and purposes, that he wouldn't play for Mike D'Antoni before the season started. Knowing the cockiness that Starbury has, you know that had to hurt his ego and therefore, when given a chance to play because his team was undermanned, he said no.
Fast forward to this week and Marbury is blasting D'Antoni and has been banned by the team until they can figure out what they can do with Marbury. For the sake of team chemistry, the Knicks need to get rid of Marbury, but how? Simply release him or buy him out? Knicks top personnel guy, Donnie Walsh, does not believe in buyouts, so this will be an interesting situation to keep an eye on.
