Congress Could Get Involved With The NBA Betting Scandal
The Tim Donaghy situation has gotten a lot more interesting, as if it could become anything else. Not only have the fans called the NBA's integrity into question, but so has the head of a Congressional Subcommittee. Illinois Representative Bobby Rush, head of the Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade and Consumer Protection understands the gravity of the situation and would like to speak with NBA Commissioner David Stern. Government involvement at this particular time for the NBA... not a good thing.
Also an ex-classmate of Donaghy's could get involved with the investigation in that he is being looked at by the FBI as a possible person to speak to about it.
