Recap Rewind: The Nets have lost their last two games to fall four games behind the Raptors for the Atlantic Division crown. While the teams chances of winning the Atlantic Division are starting to dwindle they are still holding onto the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.
Notable News: Richard Jefferson joined the team in their current six game road trip and hopes to be back on the court sometime during this road trip... The Nets had a season-high with 14 blocked shots against the Celtics... Jason Kidd become the Nets career leader in three’s last Sunday... Mikki Moore has been struggling with his shot so he took 3,000 jump shots (1,500 before practice and then 1,500 after) last Saturday... Antoine Wright left the game against the Knicks in the first quarter with a bruised right elbow... Boston was down five points with 12 seconds remaining in regulation against the Nets and managed to push the game into overtime... Jason Collins had a season-high three blocks against the Wizards and the Nets as a team had seven (a season high)... Jason Kidd posted his 85th career triple-double with 11 points, 14 assists and 14 rebounds Sunday against Philly... Kidd’s 10 triple-doubles this year are the most for any season so far in his career.
Fast Forward: The Nets are about to embark upon a tough part of their schedule as their next five games are on the road. Ouch!
