Recap Rewind: The Celtics enjoyed some luck of the Irish Saturday as they were able to steal a huge win against the Spurs. The rest of the week was ho hum as Boston beat San Antonio and Atlanta but lost twice to Chicago and once to Dallas.
Notable News: Boston's win Friday was their first win in 17 years in San Antonio... Boston held San Antonio to a season low for points in a quarter (14)... Kendrick Perkins had a great game against Atlanta with 12 points and 12 boards... Paul Pierce recorded his 2,500th assist for the Celtics in the third quarter against Atlanta... After losing 22 of 23 games Boston has now won 7 of their last 12 games... Tyrus Thomas scored a career high 23 points against Boston last Tuesday... Fast Forward: With games against New Orleans, Charlotte and Dallas the Celtics have a chance to continue their winning ways. However, does Danny Ainge and the rest of the front office want the winning ways to continue? With the season already scrapped the last thing Celtics Nation want is to lose their chances of securing the top overall pick (much like what happened to them a couple years back when they thought they had Tim Duncan guaranteed).
