Report by Brendan Sullivan
Brendan Sullivan takes a weekly look at the NBA teams in the Atlantic Division - Boston Celtics, New Jersey Nets, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, Toronto Raptors - and breaks down what happened the week before and what to expect in the week ahead, as well as injuries and trades.
Recap Rewind: Although they started off cold with a loss to the Sixers, the Celtics finished the week with gusto beating the Suns and the Hornets. The C's dominance in the second half of both wins was a harrowing reminder of their intensity: they turned a half-time tie with the Suns and a four-point half time deficit to the Hornets into two 20-point wins.
Notable News: With wins over the Suns and the Hornets, the Celtics became only the second team to beat all 29 other teams in the NBA this season. To put the icing on the cake, Rajon Rondo did this to two time MVP Steve Nash.
Fast Forward: The Celtics basically coast from her on out. They face Chicago, Indiana, and Charlotte this week, and eight of their final nine come against sub-.500, Eastern Conference teams.
