Indiana Pacers

Recap Rewind: The Pacers’ week began with a loss to the Detroit Pistons which seemed to put an end to any hopes the Pacers had of making the playoffs. But, the Pacers were able to cobble together two wins to keep hope alive. They went on the road to beat the Charlotte Bobcats, 112-102. The Pacers then returned home to take care of an injury-riddled Boston Celtics team, 105-98.

Notable News: The Pacers won two games in a row for the first time in 23 games…Jeff Foster missed all of the games last week trying to heal a bothersome back problem…Jamaal Tinsley did not play in the Charlotte and Boston games due to an injured elbow. Tinsley did play against the Pistons but because of the injury didn’t shoot the ball once ending the game with zero field goal and free throw attempts.

Fast Forward: The Pacers continue fighting for a playoff spot with two must win road games to start the week against the Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks. Things then get tougher as the Pacers stay on the road to play the Miami Heat. The New Jersey Nets then come to Indiana to finish out the week on Sunday.
