Milwaukee Bucks

Recap Rewind: The Bucks finally posted a W this week which may end up costing them better draft position after the season. The win over the Boston Celtics made the Bucks’ chances of “catching” the Celtics for the second worst record in the league all but disappear. Prior to the Bucks sole win for the week, they dropped a home game to the NO/OC Hornets, 119-101. The Bucks finished the week with two more losses, first to the Atlanta Hawks and then to the New York Knicks.

Notable News: Michael Redd only played in one game last week, scoring 25 points in the Bucks’ OT loss to the Knicks. With the knee injury continuing to hamper Redd, he’s not expected to play the rest of the season…With all of the injuries hampering the Bucks, Charlie Bell has taken advantage of the available playing time to prove his worth as a solid player. Last week his play exceeded solid as he put up 25 points in the win over the Celtics and followed that effort up with 28 points against the Hawks.

Fast Forward: The Bucks have a busy week including games that could impact the race for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot. The Orlando Magic come to Milwaukee on Monday night currently holding down the 8th spot. The Magic’s closest challenger, the Indiana Pacers, then visit Milwaukee two days later. The Bucks travel to play the Boston Celtics before coming home to finish the week against the Charlotte Bobcats.
