CHICAGO BULLS

Recap Rewind: The Bulls let their grip on the two seed in the East slip away on the last night of the regular season. While Cleveland was dispatching of a depleted Milwaukee Bucks team, the Bulls had to go on the road to play a hot and motivated New Jersey Nets team. The result was a 106-97 loss. The Bulls were rolling heading into the finale after putting up a 29 point win over the New York Knicks, a 19 point win over the Charlotte Bobcats, and a 33 point win over the Washington Wizards.

Notable News: By losing the final game of the season, the Bulls dropped to the five seed for the Eastern Conference playoffs which throws them into a challenging first round matchup with the Miami Heat. As a Division winner, the Heat are a four seed but since the Bulls have a better regular season record they will have home court advantage…Ben Gordon was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for averaging 24.3 points and 4.7 assists in the Bulls three wins.

Fast Forward: The Bulls host the Miami Heat this weekend in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
