Atma Brother ONE and Fantasy Junkie, thanks for taking the time out to help me out. I know that you did previews for every basketball publication and website about the Warriors, so thanks for the love.
MY TAKE - Things Go Right If These Three Things Happen:
1. Baron Davis is happy in the new offense, which he should be, and becomes the All-Star that he is. It would help if he took less three-pointers, which only drag his shooting percentage down. Either way, Boom Dizzle is a scoring and assist threat WHEN healthy.
2. Speaking of health, Jason Richardson comes back strong from knee surgery in August. He'll probably start off slow, but should get back into the swing of things by the new year.
3. Mike Dunleavy FINALLY gets it done after so many have been waiting for him to breakout for a full season.
MY TAKE - Things Go Wrong If These Three Things Happen:
1. Davis doesn't stay healthy and the ball is given to a second year player that came out of high school in Monta Ellis.
2. Mickael Pietrus and Ike Diogu don't develop into better players, especially in Head Coach Donnie Nelson's running offense.
3. Troy Murphy, a very underrated player, doesn't take to the new small ball offense on the defensive side and hampers it. Can he be an anchor down in the box defensively against bigger centers?
