Deron Williams

From Dennis Velasco, for About.com

Williams was highly-touted coming out of Illinois, chosen with the third overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft before Chris Paul, who eventually won the Rookie of the Year award. In part because of Paul's stellar play, there were many that second-guessed the Jazz's choice of Williams. However, after spending the offseason of 2006 with legendary Jazz point guard John Stockton, Williams came back strong in 2006-07 and looks to have a bright future ahead of him.
