Lang is the Managing Editor of NBA Vine, which was created in 2006.

Born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey, Lang attended state basketball powerhouse Paterson Catholic Regional High School.

Lang started 2 years Varsity for the Cougars’ football team, but is proud that he was part of the 1993-94 Junior Varsity basketball squad. He often references his old teammates’ playing styles in his columns.

During his high school years, Lang either played or scrimmaged against numerous future collegiate and professional stars.

After high school, Lang landed at perennial MEAC powerhouse South Carolina State University and still thinks that his alma mater could have beaten the Jacque Vaughn led Kansas Jayhawks in the 1997 NCAA Tournament.

He is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated and considers Vince Carter’s monstrous dunk over Alonzo Mourning frat-on-frat violence.

Lang received an MBA from Winthrop University and is an avid supporter of both SC State & Winthrop athletic programs.

He regularly hosts the “Ask the Editor” weekly mailbag and doesn’t shy away from trading smack with the vines.

Lang lives in South Carolina with his wife Latoya and their daughter.
