Vivek Wallace (31) writes for Most Valuable Network providing coverage for the NBA's Miami Heat on a blog site titled Crazy From The Heat. A Miami native and avid basketball fan makes Vivek a bona fide Miami Heat historian, equipped with memories ranging from the teams inaugural season, all the way to the teams one and only NBA Finals Championship victory. After witnessing his Miami Heat rise to the top in the NBA's 2005-2006 campaign, Vivek was quoted as saying, "It was a near tear evoking moment to watch a team whose inception you were a part of, literally rise from basement level ashes to effectively touch the stars."

When it comes to writing, Vivek prides himself on being able to give his readers material that isn't as common to find. Whether it be statistics, or simply an uncommon point of view, generally you can count on finding something in every piece he writes that will stick in your mind for days to come. Where in most sports writers simply throw out general stats mixed into a few paragraphs, Vivek tends to be more informative and throughly specific - sometimes to the point of literal hairsplitting - to make sure his point is conveyed to his readers to the same level in which he interprets them.

If there was ever such a thing as a "sports geek," it would clearly encompass the name "Vivek Wallace." How bad is he? (Hold your tomatoes please) Considering the fact that an ideal night for him - a single man - is spent at home watching sports with his son rather than partying a night away on the sands of South Beach, one can only wonder if there's reason to keep hope alive for any interested woman. The fact that he gladly brags of having three first loves doesn't help. Especially when their names are Basketball, Football, and Boxing. Guess it's safe to say any woman who's name isn't sports-related need not apply. (Smiles)
