By Dennis Velasco, About.com

Report by Dave Deckard and Nick Sclafani

Dave Deckard and Nick Sclafani take a weekly look at the NBA teams in the Pacific Division - Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings - and breaks down what happened the week before and what to expect in the week ahead, as well as injuries and trades.

GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS reported by Dave

Recap Rewind: The Warriors went 2-2 this week, making their record 43-27. They beat the Clippers, lost to Houston, and then split a two-game series with the Lakers. They remain in the 8th spot in the West, just 1/2 games ahead of Denver, and in third position in the Pacific Division.

Notable News: After making a brief attempt at a comeback newly-acquired Warriors’ forward Chris Webber is now admitting that knee problems have brought his career to a close.

Fast Forward: The Warriors run a potentially nasty gauntlet this week, welcoming the Blazers on Thursday before a critical game against the Nuggets in Denver on Saturday. They host Dallas on Sunday and travel to San Antonio next Tuesday, the beginning of a difficult four-game road trip.
