NEW ORLEANS HORNETS

Recap Rewind: The Hornets started off the season well, but the losses of Chris Paul, David West, and offseason acquisition Peja Stojakovic hindered the team. While Stojakovic would be out the rest of the season, Paul and West would eventually come back to rejuvenate the team and make a run for the postseason, but falling three games short. Stojakovic could easily be considered a bust, but the signing of Tyson Chandler looked to be a brilliant one as the center averaged close to a double-double (9.5 ppg and 12.4 rpg) and was worth the money spent.

Fast Forward: The Hornets look forward to now playing all of their games in New Orleans next season as opposed to splitting home courts between there and Oklahoma City. The team is essentially a young team and should make another push in the tough Western Conference. But, for the immediate future, they'll get younger in the upcoming draft. The future should be bright with a core of Paul, West, and Chandler, but in arguably the toughest division in the NBA, it's going to be tough.
