Recap Rewind: A bad week for the Rockets, which saw them lose home games to the Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors and San Antonio Spurs... The loss to the Celtics last Monday was especially miserable, with the Rocks scoring just 72 points against the worst team in the League. Figures that Tracy McGrady missed that one (flu-like symptoms)... Houston's lone win of the week actually came away from the Toyota Center, as the beat the Nuggets in Denver on Friday.
Notable News: Those few losses have dropped the Rockets four games behind the Utah Jazz and the fourth seed in the standings. They are now 36-23 on the season... Dikembe Mutombo grabbed 22 rebounds in the Nuggets game, becoming the oldest dude in NBA history to pull more than 20 boards in a contest. In case you're wondering, big Deke is 40 years old... Big fantastic news for Rockets fans this week: the big Chinese guy is back! Having missed more than two months due to injury, Yao Ming was expected to play Monday in Cleveland... Bonzi Wells is suffering now. He may miss some a couple of games due to a foot injury...
Fast Forward: Yao and the Rockets are getting ready to play the Cavs in Cleveland as I'm writing this (Monday). Wednesday they have a rematch with the Celtics, this time in Boston. Friday sees them back home to take on the Nets, and Sunday brings the Magic to the Toyota Center.
