NEW ORLEANS HORNETS

Recap Rewind: A bad week for the Hornets considering their fighting for their Playoff lives. They played the back-to-back from hell last week, Tuesday against Dallas and Wednesday at San Antonio. Not surprisingly, they lost both. On Saturday they needed overtime to beat the visiting New York Knicks, after a Nate Robinson prayer forced the extra session.

Notable News: The Hornets are 33-40 on the season and three games behind the LA Clippers for the final Playoff spot out West. It's not looking good for the Playoffs in Oklahoma City... According to head coach Byron Scott, the Hornets will try to bring Devin Brown back next season. Brown has seen his minutes dip lately as Jannero Pargo gets more time... The Hornets have now lost 21 consecutive games to the Mavericks, dating back to 1999... Peja Stojakovic was expected to return from his lengthy absence against the Knicks on Saturday, but stiffness in his surgically-repaired back may keep him out for the rest of the season... Guard Bobby Jackson, who missed five games with an ankle injury, was back in action against the Knicks on Saturday, scoring 12 points.

Fast Forward: The Hornets make up for a game postponed earlier in the season when they travel to Milwaukee Tuesday to play the Bucks. Wednesday sees them back in Oklahoma City to play the Sonics, followed by a visit from the Phoenix Suns on Friday. On Saturday they're on the road to play the Minnesota Timberwolves.
